Chimney Bear Payment Plan Terms & Conditions
At Chimney Bear, we’re committed to making home maintenance simple, transparent, and affordable. These Terms and Conditions explain how our Flexible Payment Plans work. Please read them carefully before enrolling.
1. Payment Plan Details
Chimney Bear offers flexible financing options to help homeowners manage the cost of chimney maintenance, repairs, and installations.
Available Payment Plans:
12- to 24-Month Plans: 0% interest financing
36-Month Plan: 3.99% annual interest rate
Key Payment Terms:
No credit check is required to qualify.
Payments are automatically deducted from a valid credit or debit card.
Automatic payments are mandatory for all payment plan participants.
The first payment is processed at enrollment to activate your plan.
In some cases, a deposit may be required depending on the project size and material costs. The deposit amount will be clearly stated in your service agreement and applied toward the total project cost.
Payment plans may not be available for every service or repair. Please contact Chimney Bear at (630) 601-6993 to confirm eligibility.
2. Deposits
For larger repair or installation projects, a deposit may be required before work begins.
The deposit amount will be clearly specified in your written contract.
Deposits are applied directly toward your final service cost and remain secure until work is completed.
If Chimney Bear cancels the project for any reason, your deposit will be refunded in full.
If you choose to cancel, delay, or fail to proceed with the project after approval, the deposit will be applied toward incurred costs and may be non-refundable depending on the stage of work or materials ordered.
This policy ensures fairness, accountability, and peace of mind for both you and Chimney Bear.
3. Default & Late Payments
If payments are missed for 60 consecutive days, your loan will be considered in default, and the remaining balance becomes immediately due.
If full payment is not received by the 70th day, Chimney Bear may pursue legal remedies to recover the outstanding balance.
Customers experiencing financial hardship are encouraged to contact Chimney Bear as soon as possible to discuss resolution options.
We value honesty and communication and will work with you to find a fair solution when possible.
4. Fees
Chimney Bear does not charge hidden fees or additional financing costs beyond those disclosed in your chosen plan.
Standard payment plans include either 0% interest or a fixed 3.99% rate for extended terms.
5. Prepayment Option
You may make extra payments or pay off your balance in full at any time without penalty. Early payments will reduce your remaining balance and shorten your plan term.
6. Refund Policy
Purchases made through a payment plan are non-refundable once services have begun.
If you cancel services after enrolling, no refunds will be issued, and the remaining balance remains due in full.
Associated fees or deductions will still apply if you cancel or return services after work has started.
This ensures that materials and labor costs are properly covered.
7. Modification or Termination
Chimney Bear reserves the right to modify or discontinue payment plan offers at any time.
Customers already enrolled will continue under their existing agreement until completion.
8. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois.
Any disputes shall be handled exclusively in the courts of Illinois.
9. Transferability
Payment plan agreements are non-transferable and may not be assigned to another individual or entity.
10. Application Rights
Chimney Bear reserves the right to approve or reject any payment plan application at its sole discretion.
11. No Credit Check Policy
No credit checks are required to participate in Chimney Bear’s payment plans.
By enrolling, you acknowledge and agree that no credit inquiry will be conducted.

13. Dispute Resolution
Both parties agree to attempt to resolve any disagreements in good faith.
If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to submit the matter to mediation, with costs shared equally.
If mediation fails, disputes will be resolved in the courts of Illinois.
Chimney Bear reserves the right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in cases involving misuse or violation of intellectual property rights.
14. Severability
If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect.
Any invalid clause will be modified only as necessary to make it enforceable while preserving its intent.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms, along with your signed service contract, represent the entire agreement between Chimney Bear and the customer.
No oral or prior written statements supersede this agreement unless signed and approved by both parties.
16. Language
These Terms are drafted in English. Any translated versions are for convenience only.
If discrepancies arise, the English version shall control.
17. Customer Acknowledgment
By enrolling in a Chimney Bear Payment Plan, you acknowledge that:
You have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
Failure to comply may result in default, an immediate balance due, or legal action.
Payment plans are non-refundable once work has begun.
You agree to automatic payments and understand that a deposit may be required for certain projects.
